Check out the awesome program for our 2015 Annual Conference!

Posted on

We have some great sessions coming up at our 2015 Annual Conference Mainstays: Charting the Course, which is happening on Wednesday, June 10 at the St. John’s Campus of Memorial University. Check out the full program for details. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time! Our conference is an affordable $50 and includes light breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks.

This year we have two fun social events planned and both are included with your conference registration! The Pre-conference social on Tuesday evening (7:00-9:00 pm) is at the Janeway Resource Centre, Janeway Hostel, Room 434. Join us for refreshments, mingle with colleagues, and hear what’s happening in our local health libraries.

NLLA Conference attendees are invited to attend the joint APLA Conference opening reception on Wednesday evening at the Johnson GeoCentre. Built in a natural rock basin the GeoCentre fits snugly in between 500 linear feet of exposed rock walls. Enjoy becoming reacquainted with colleagues and meeting new ones from across the region in the Reception Hall while also enjoying the environmentally friendly geothermal heating and the glow of illuminated planets overhead. Hors d’oeuvres and local entertainment will be provided and a cash bar will be available.

Free transportation to the NLLA/APLA reception from the conference venue will be provided. Buses will depart from the Main Entrance of the Chemistry Building, Memorial University Campus, Wednesday at 7:10 pm. Buses will be leaving the Geo Centre at 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm.

We look forward to seeing you this year!
