Posted on

George Murphy, the NDP legislature member for St. John’s East, will facilitate three town hall-style meetings to get feedback on the recent budget cuts.

The Western Star quoted Murphy as describing the provinces latest fiscal plan as “one of the most disturbing budgets” he has seen and wants to know how people and the communities they live in are being impacted.

Please come out and voice your concerns for the cuts to the public library system, including the lay-offs of Librarians and library support staff.
