2011 Margaret Williams Trust Fund Award Winner

The Margaret Williams Trust Fund Award was established to promote the development of librarianship in Newfoundland and Labrador. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis to applicants seeking funding for library-related projects or assistance in pursuing graduate studies in librarianship, archival studies, or teacher librarianship.

The Trustees of the Margaret Williams Trust Fund are pleased to announce that the Trust has issued its 2011 award to Nailisa Tanner in the amount of $1,500.2011 Margaret Williams Trust Fund Award Winner Nailisa Tanner

Originally from St. John’s, Nailisa holds a bachelor of arts (honours) degree in Western Society & Culture from Concordia University (2010), Montreal QC. She will be pursuing a postgraduate degree in Library and Information Studies at McGill University, specializing in Librarianship with a strong interest in Archival Studies.
